If it is true I fail to see how it would make the car any faster or unsafe (should have been treated like a VIP issue and not a DQ). I hope that in our zeal to run fair races we never overlook intent (imagine if Akron DQed every car that was not VIP).

Note on this site messages referring to the car in question as “illegal” or “DQed” before Monday’s meeting (Monday’s meeting also discussed on this site).

When the total truth comes out. It's a list of infractions. not kid stuff. The dilemma is to openly explain all the things wrong or keep it from the general public. The board doesn’t want to let everyone know how to cheat? So they might not divulge it to us. And the rumors will continue to fly. Like the ramps, Ream’s should have posted and cleared up the time line. Who had custody and when.
