SMOOTH DEDICATED DERY TRACK TIGHT OR LOOSE?

Bob ...I always run tight on rear. The front I loosen if there is crossbind in ramp. Then I still end up running tighter than most no matter what the surface.

Tight is right on any surface. As Derek said, crossbind in a ramp is the only factor that should cause you to loosen up at all.

yup ive always run tight tight, mostly if its a city street like around where i use to race its more on the sholders of the driver then anything, teach em to be agrressive and go after the cones ( if thats the line to run)

On a dedicated hill (i.e. Akron) I tighten as much as possible. On the street tracks around here, I've had better results racing loose, but I've also seen many fast people racing tight, so really it is up to you.

One thing you should know is that a loose front makes it easier to steer and a bit harder to stay in a straight line. A tight front makes it harder to steer quite as smoothly, but it is easier to stay straight.
