The Region 8 Buccaneer "Champion of Champions" Race was held in South Charleston, West Virginia on Saturday August 20th. Local Champs and runner-ups were invited from Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia to compete in a non-points double elimination race. On Sunday August 21st the Buccaneer "Open" Rally was held for anyone wishing to run in a double elimination AA rally. Pat & Dena Taylor and all their volunteers did a great job preparing and running these races. Below are the results.

I would like to thank all of the volunteers at the Buccaneer. This was the first time attending the Buccaneer and I thought they put on a great rally. It was a full moon weekend in every since of the word, they pulled through the heat and rain and Got- R- Done. I think I can speak for everyone in attendence; and say THANK YOU for a great weekend. I know it's one we will never forget.

The Buccaneer was definately a fun weekend! I encourage all the region 8 drivers to attend next year if they didnt this year! Its definately the funnest race of the year!
