I happened to look at the NDR web site and noticed that there are not many rallies currently scheduled for this spring prior to the nationals. I am currious if there are more to be scheduled? If there are, I encourage all you directors to get them listed. It's already close to the end of March and racing will be a full steam ahead soon.

I realize there are traditionally more in the fall in certain Regions. Keystone and the Midwest in particular. I listed the Total number of NDR rallies by Region scheduled for the entire racing season and showed the races scheduled yet for spring in ( ).

I simply ran some numbers and found some areas maybe the NDR would want to look at and promote racing. I may not be perfect in my numbers but close I think.

Region 1 Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah, Hawaii - 0 NDR Rallies 8 AA Local Race Cities

Region 2 Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming Alaska British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan - 8 NDR Rallies (6 this spring) 6 AA Local Race Cities

Region 4 Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, Colorado, Missouri, Minnesota, North and South Dakota, Manitoba, Ontario - 12 NDR Rallies (4 this sping) 9 AA Local Race Cities

Region 5 Illinois, Indiana ,Wisconsin, Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky - 4 NDR Rallies 40 AA Local Race Cities

Region 6 South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee

Again these numbers I'm sure are not perfect but somewhat close. Just some food for thought as how to start promoting the NDR to those regions where we have little or no NDR Rallies.

My concern is very simple. Based on the limited amounts of rallies I see scheduled. It may be difficult for some in certain regions to meet the requirements to attend the Nationals. Sioux City will be a great race and nobody should miss this one if at all possible. A truely quality track!
