HELLO:
I have a question?
I put the bushing in my AA stock car floorboard and drilled out a 2" diameter hole around where the steel bushing would be. I epoxied in a 2" diameter hard rubber mount and put the steel bushing inside this mount. I can tighten down my kingpin to 165 inch pounds and still get flex on the hill. Best of both worlds! Is this legal? Also....It cant be noticed if it isn't
You say it can't be noticed. So what, it's still illegal. Don't try running it at rallies, you will get caught and it's not worth it to be known as a cheater. Time to buy a new floorboard.
all in baby,
Obviously this is not legal and it would appear to me you already know that. Are you trying to say that this is something that is already being done and needs to be checked for at inspections both at the AA and NDR????
Maybe I'm reading too much into your message and if so please say so.
Thanks
Roger Van Waart
I think Roger has said it pretty well.
Just one question I am very curious what part of the rules did you read to make you think this was legal enough to go ahead and do it????
I hope you have already ordered your new floorboard. I will give you the benefit of the doubt but this does not sound like a rookie mistake and if this is something you were told by someone else think twice 3 times before listening to them again.
I am especially suspicous because of your last comment
"Also....It cant be noticed if it isn't"
We await your response.
People, People...69er isn't a novice and is pointing out a perceived CHEATER!
Right or Wrong... they don't have the fortitude to correct the situation “at” a race, with the officials in tow.
PS: look at their sign-up date.... got it, get it, goooood…. don’t get suckered by the week

I think HE or She is trying to drum up some trouble. The best thing is to not even reply to such a stupid question.
it would be easy to catch this if you win at NDR when its right in the view of everyone
i can't believe you would think of doing such a thing, even if you didn't and know someone else has done this. i have been racing for well over twenty years and have seen some pretty dumb things, this ranks right up there with the dumbest. do you or do you not know how to read? in the rules it states if it does not say you can do it then this means you can not do it. we all look for an edge in this sport, but get back to reality. did the kid come up with this or the parent. reason i ask, how much work did the kid do to this car? probally none is my guess. so get the rule book back out and start reading. if you need help translating something ask someone with some common sense. guys like this is what has put the sport in the phase of not being able to build a car and go race. this is why you have kits that bolt together because of these types of people. i hope to see who ever this is at a race running that car and get caught. how will you feel wihen you have to look at te kid say we loose because we cheat. get back to what this sport is about you looser. don't teach our children how to cheat or that it is okay to cheat. i love when these kind of people show up and get kicked all over the track and then head home scratching there heads. so once and for all get back to the kid not yourself you idiot.
