The Cleveland Board recently approved a Stock division "Fun Run" event for 5 & 6 year olds.
It will be held on Sunday Sept. 2nd along with our NDR Rally. For $10.00 each racer will receive 4 trips down the hill and will be hand released from approximately 3/4 track. The cars will have no weights installed and must pass a safety inspection. Particle boards are ok for this event as this is a fun run and not a race. The purpose is to give the kids a chance to get a taste of what their older siblings and friends have been doing and hopefully get them interested in continuing when they reach racing age. Each child will receive some token gift to remember their experience. (ribbon, etc.)
Visit our website at www.clevelandsoapboxderby.com to print out a registration. Just write in "Fun Run", the child's name and age. Please bring proof of age. The NDR has approved this event and all participants must fill out the usual registration form.
