I believe DesMoines Iowa is where we will go next. Handbrakes are hard to come by right now. Glad to see your coming to NDR. You guys graduated to the big time when you built the Ultimate. I respect the fact that you engineered a car from the ground up.
Savannah is 7 now and we will start racing derby soon. I'm realistic though as I know it takes a good driver to win no matter how good your car is. Our goal is to win a NDR rally this year.
I tried to send this through the email but it was kicked back.

Derek,
At the Region 6 meeting they told us that a redesigned handbrake will be available from the AA sometime in April. It will be the triangle type wheel that will be hinged so you can pull it straight back. They also said there will be no restriction on who can use it as far as the size of the driver.
Dick Thornton
Okay so they liked my design. I solved this issue 2 years ago for team Frank.
Thanks for the info.
Looks like ill be on the AA site waiting for that handbrake to come on sale.
The ultimate speed car took a while, but it was well worth it. The floorboard was going to be used in my stick car a while back until they got handicapped and then kicked out of derby racing all-together.
Well since keystone is all NDR this fall, do you think you might make it to some races over here?
-Chris
Yes I plan on attending some keystone. We are a NDR family.
DEREK
That’s cool, there is a few NDR races in PA this spring also (just looked at the schedule)
Maybe we will see you this spring.
