Under cool but sunny skies.... Racers gathered at the GRAVITY CAVITY @ Kawartha Downs in Peterborough Ontario for the 2006 Gravity Sprint Championships. Held in conjunction with the CASCAR Super Series Weekend. The kids experienced a day of awesome racing on the derby hill and got to rub shoulders with professional stock car drivers, representatives of CASCAR and NASCAR and a host of motorsports media members. The new derby track, Canada's only dedicated derby track was up to the challenge as the drivers and setups were push to the limit.... as the track demands focused driving to succed. Fast cars didn't garantee a win at this race... sharpe driving made the day.
